General information about our courses
All of our courses at the Academy are presented by experienced chefs, keen to introduce you to new culinary ideas. The courses, all listed on the left, are suitable for all levels of experience, whether a beginner, an enthusiast or a professional chef. You can book just one place, or, feel free to bring along some friends to add to the lively atmosphere!
The courses are not simply about cooking; they give you the chance to socialise, learn more about your passion, and enjoy delicious food and wine within the beautiful rural setting of Yattendon. They also give you the opportunity to grill our chefs (not literally!) on the best methods and ingredients – whatever question you come up with, they will advise to the best of their knowledge!
About the day
The day starts with tea/coffee being served around 9.15am and an introduction. The course begins promptly at 9.30am in our state of the art kitchen where you will enjoy the space of your own work station. The experience culminates in a delicious feast of your own making, with wine to accompany, served in our beautiful country style dining room. The day finishes at approximately 4.30pm.
What is included in your day at The Fine Dining Academy:
- Teas, coffees and biscuits on arrival,
- All ingredients and equipment are provided and will be ready at your work station for you,
- Lunch and other courses cooked by your fair hands!
- Water and wine is offered with your lunch,
- A recipe booklet and space to add your own notes,
- All cleaning and washing up is carried out by staff.
Group discount
The organiser will receive 10% off their course when they bring a guest. They will also receive a further 5% off for each additional friend or colleague they bring (up to 4 people). Bring 5 friends and receive your course with our compliments!
Cancellation policy
Due to the pre ordering of specialist ingredients please note that bookings can only be cancelled up to 8 days in advance. Anytime after this course fees are non-refundable although you may send someone in your place.
